KIPP at automatica 2025: New solutions for automated locking

Systematic safety - automated locking

From 24 to 27 June 2025, HEINRICH KIPP WERK will be presenting new products for industrial automation at automatica in Munich (Hall A5, Stand 218). The focus: an innovative solution for automated locking - the new pneumatic locking pins from the K2202/K2203/K2204 series.

Convincing technology - robust, precise, versatile

  • Materials: Stainless steel, ground and hardened locking pin
  • Operating pressure: 4-6 bar
  • Forms:
    • A: single-acting, pneumatically extending
    • B: single-acting, pneumatically retracting
    • C: double-acting
  • Sensors: PNP NO, 10-30 V DC, switching frequency up to 3000 Hz
  • Pin diameter: 6-12 mm
  • Sensor protection class: IP67

Typical areas of application:

  • Mechanical and plant engineering: Locking of swivelling, lifting and sliding tables
  • Automation technology: Fixing of grippers or devices
  • Packaging technology: Repeat-accurate positioning during format changes
  • Conveyor technology: Locking of workpiece carriers

A modular system - perfectly matched to each other

The new locking system comprises

  • K2202 - Pneumatic locking pin
  • K2203 - Magnetic field sensor for status detection
  • K2204 - Sensor holder with T-slot, suitable for standard round cylinders

Well thought-out down to the last detail, the system is optimised for seamless integration into modern control concepts - for example via PLC.
