Olympic week at the KIPP Group

From 29th December 2022 to 5th January 2023 the KIPP Group, as a partner company
to top-level sport and sponsor of the Stiftung OlympiaNachwuchs, were able to help organise the supporting programme for the Olympic Week as part of the Horber District Cup Indoor Tournament.

 

As a company that is passionate about sport, we take responsibility in the extremely difficult challenge of balancing competitive sport and a career by providing comprehensive support to young athletes by e.g. being a training company and an understanding employer .


Our two management trainees Katharina Menz and Tim-Oliver Geßwein showed their skills with live shows.

Katharina Menz started with her live judo show match and demonstrated various fighting techniques including a throw over the shoulder.

Then it was on to the live freestyle football performance by Faruk Onmaz and Sebastian Madzia who demonstrated their juggling skills with the football.

On day two, our management trainee Tim-Oliver Geßwein gave a fascinating demonstration of how high one can jump on a trampoline.

Jello Krahmer and Lucas Lazogianis followed up with the sport of wrestling.

A breakdance performance - called "Breaking" - was displayed by
Ben Welker and Simon Kringer.

There was also a musical interlude and brilliant live show performance by Niki Gotschewa, Lada Pusch and Viktoria Steinfeld in the category rhythmic gymnastics.

On the final evening the action continued with two more live show bouts: Wheelchair fencing with Maurice Schmidt and Felix Schrader.

This was followed by a boxing match between Daniel Balko and Dennis Balko.


A further highlight was a live interview with Michael "Mimi" Kraus (2007 Handball World Champion) followed by a fan photo opportunity. We thank all for the fair matches and the fascinating dynamics. Thus, the Olympic week was entirely in line with the KIPP Group values - Accountability, Dynamic and Fairness.
